The Digestive System Part 3: A Recap

Welcome back to part 3 of the The Digestive System series. In this post we are going to recap the 2 parts of the digestive system. Remember what they are?

Digestive System= Gastrointestinal Tract+Accessory Organs.

Below lets test our knowledge and see what we remember.  Below I will list a part of the digestive system and you will try to recall if it is part of

A. The Gastrointestinal tract OR
B. An Accessory Organ

There you have it. The mouth, small intestine, large intestine, esophagus, and stomach are part of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. The pancreas, liver, and gallbladder are accessory organs.
