Satisfying a craving: Chocolate Mug Cake Recipe

Satisfying a craving: Chocolate Mug Cake Recipe

I believe in satisfying a craving. Sometimes I crave carrots and hummus or a fresh fruit salad. Sometimes I crave something sweet. Today's post is about that time you crave something sweet.

Sometimes I crave something sweet, but don't want to break out the stand mixer, preset the oven, and wait 30 minutes for something to bake. Today's recipe says goodbye to that. Within 15 minutes you can have a dessert ready to happily indulge in.

This chocolate mug cake is a rich, decadent, and indulgent dessert. It requires minimal equipment and minimal time.

I adapted the recipe slightly from the blog Table for Two and hope you enjoy.

#Tedonetips
1.Every microwave runs differently so the microwave time may vary.
2. The top of the cake should be on the slightly wetter side when it is finished cooking. If it it is completely dry on top, it will be very dry in the middle.
3. The mug cake can be served inside the mug and does not have to be inverted onto a plate.
